FOREST & LAKE IDENTITY STATIONARY PACKAGE WITH MEMO

SKILLS:
Adobe templates, pen and paintbrush tools, layout, graphic design, branding, and sketching roughs and comps.
A successful business calls for a professional looking stationary package featuring a unified, themed motif and color scheme based on a branded look. The Forest & Lake cabin, lake, and condominium rental agency is a fictitious business that handles short term rentals in a rustic environment of woods and lakes.
As the owner, I designed a logo, business card, and letterhead package crafted to help prospective renters smell the pine needles, bark, and campfires, and experience images of cool water waves slapping against a boat with ropes coiled on the deck. Putting these two images together with a forest green and reddish-brown color palette, using a special “lake” font, beckons them to call for a reservation in this peaceful getaway setting.
The business card incorporates a sketch of a charming old tree extending its leafy branches to the other side of the card with the lake logo graphic, again merging concepts together. It was a challenge to create a new glyph “tail” in one of the characters of the font, but the flowing movement created the look of a curling wave and demonstrates my ability for graphic design.
