How would you re-brand a small business service with a radical marketing change overnight?
Georgia Lupinski, my fictional client, was an at home oboe teacher who rode her BMX bike to some of her lessons, but was now transitioning to online teaching. With a compelling "About Us" article, Georgia could potentially increase her student patronage and income significantly.
I assisted her in creating a whimsical story that seduces the reader with a brief teaser sentence, a personal photo, and a prominently designed red link button leading to the “About Us” page. There the tale concludes with the clear signal that Georgia is still a bike rider flexible enough to travel to home lessons, too.
Due to limited availability of oboe photos online, I was forced to use a photo with daises; however, this actually expanded and shaped the storyline with a fun surprise that adds ethos to Georgia’s persona as a qualified oboe teacher. Read on by scrolling down...
